Polaroid instant film has an aesthetic all of its own; slightly soft with exaggerated colours and a high gloss finish. There’s something magical about an image produced by a chemical process. The same shot can turn out differently every time, and that’s part of the appeal — the unexpected and the haphazard means that every picture is unique.
