Worcester Arts Collective is proud to present its first exhibition of 2025 in commemoration of International Women’s Day on March 8th. ‘Accelerate Equality’ is an engaging, multi-faceted art exhibition with a variety of art forms, including visual art, sculpture, zines, and poetry. It showcases the work of local artists exploring themes of gender equality.

Worcester Arts Collective Open House

We’re having an Open House at Worcester Arts Collective to coincide with the Three Choirs Festival at Worcester Cathedral this year.
Open from 11am – 6pm every day with an exhibition of artwork from the WAC artists and invited guest artists Karen Stone, Wendy Simmons and Hils Auty. Original artwork, prints, art cards and gifts for sale plus artist studio visits.

My entry ‘Base2’ is a visual representation of numbers ascending from 0 to 15 in binary with the letters of the words ‘zero’ and ‘one’ translated into coloured blocks.

Lights, Camera… Paint! Art Trail

My photo montage artwork ‘Gheluvelt–but could be–Jurassic Park’ is on display in the window of Spin the Black Circle on the corner of Pump Street and The Shambles. The art trail is taking place as a run up to the Worcester Film Festival. There are 20 posters, all on a film theme, at 17 locations around the city centre and out towards Barbourne.

An exhibition of collaborative and individual artwork by Karen Stone and Richard Nicholls. The work is in response to three, site specific environments within Worcester. The artists visited the sites together, forming ideas and responses as well as gathering source material. They then worked individually before collaborating on the final pieces.
This small exhibition shows the collaborative finished artworks together with individual pieces made in the course of research.

Amplify

Two Worcestershire artists launch their first collaborative art exhibition on Friday 27 January at The Artery Gallery in Worcester. Anne Guest and Richard Nicholls collaborate to make artwork that explores ideas surrounding environment, space and human existence in the modern age. Some of the work is a response to a news topic or event and some is very specific to Worcester itself, such as the photographs that the artists took of the abandoned Royal Worcester Porcelain Works which closed in 2009.
